Boris CEO Solarion twin Ponzi

Gold Unicorn operates in the cryptocurrency MLM niche.

The company is headed up by CEO “Denis Milanovkiy”.

A search for Milanovkiy brings up Solarion, which appears to be a clone of Gold Unicorn’s website.

• Gold Unicorn operates from “gold-unicorn.com”, privately registered in April 2022 (last updated February 8th, 2023)
• Solarion operates from “solarion.biz”, privately registered on January 28th, 2023

Gold Unicorn predates Solarion, as evidenced by marketing videos uploaded to its official YouTube channel last November.

Milanovkiy has a typical eastern European accent. And you’ve probably noticed the hardcoded Russian subtitles.

Naturally Milanovkiy doesn’t exist outside of Gold Unicorn’s and Solarion’s marketing material. This and his accent make Milanovkiy a prime Boris CEO candidate.

I wasn’t able to pin down a name but circa 2017, the actor playing Milanovkiy’s then partner posted this photo to vKontakte:

The female in the photo above cites her location as Dnipro, Ukraine. The actor playing Milanovkiy is likely also from Ukraine.

In an attempt to appear legitimate, Gold Unicorn provides a random address in Washington on its website. Solarion provides a random address in the UK.

Gold Unicorn also provides a certificate for GoldUnicorn LLC, purportedly incorporated in Washington.

Given how easy it is to incorporate a shell company with bogus details (“Robert Daniel” in this instance), for the purpose of due-diligence basic incorporation in any jurisdiction is meaningless.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

Gold Unicorn’s Products

Gold Unicorn has no retailable products or services.

Affiliates are only able to market Gold Unicorn affiliate membership itself.

3. Rank 2 – invest $20,000, generate $500,000 in downline investment and your recruited affiliates need to have recruited at least fifty affiliates (in total)
4. Rank 3 – invest $50,000, generate $1,000,000 in downline investment

Referral Commissions

Gold Unicorn pays referral commissions via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

• Affiliates earn 6% on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates), 3% on level 2 and 2% on level 3
• Rank 1 affiliates earn 6% on level 1, 8% on level 2 and 2% on level 3

Gold Unicorn Conclusion

Gold Unicorn is your typical Boris CEO Ponzi scheme.

The ruse behind said Ponzi scheme is “cryptocurrency and solar panels”.

We invest in cryptocurrency and solar panels. Make profit by investing in the cryptocurrency together with Gold Unicorn.

No evidence of Gold Unicorn investing in cryptocurrency or solar panels is provided.

Furthermore, by offering a passive investment opportunity, Gold Unicorn’s MLM opportunity constitutes a securities offering.

If you want to buy into the US shell company, offering securities in the US requires registration with the SEC.

A search of the SEC’s Edgar database reveals neither Gold Unicorn or “Denis Milanovkiy” are registered.

This means that, at a minimum, Gold Unicorn is committing securities fraud.

Despite that, Gold Unicorn claims;

All transactions are under the US regulatory authorities control.

It’s a janky sentence but they’re implying regulatory approval – which Gold Unicorn doesn’t have.

As with all MLM Ponzi schemes, once affiliate recruitment dries up so too will new investment.

This will starve Gold Unicorn of ROI revenue, eventually prompting a collapse.

The math behind Ponzi schemes guarantees that when they collapse, the majority of investors lose money.

One final note on Solarion, I believe this might be a planned reboot. The name better fits the “renewable energy” investment plan ruse.

If that’s the case, why Gold Unicorn’s website is still up is unclear. The only difference between Solarion and Gold Unicorn is the UK shell company and daily ROI periods:

• invest $20 to $100 and receive 0.8% for 3 days (102.4%)
• invest $100 to $800 and receive 1% for 5 days (105%)
• invest $800 to $3000 and receive 1.3% for 10 days (113%)
• invest $3000 to $10,000 and receive 1.8% for 20 days (136%)

This is a pretty significant reduction over Gold Unicorn. I guess the original 25 to 85 day plans didn’t take off.

In any event Solarion is the same Ponzi scheme as Gold Unicorn, run by the same scammers. It’ll end the same way too.
